Akcent- Lover’s Cry

I heard this song tonight on the radio and I love it.  I am in Agrinio now and had the most wonderful time with Vasilis watching Panathaniakos hog the ball the whole game and make the only goal of the game after an agonizingly long stretch of failed strikes.  The whole bar was in an uproar.  They organize bars by football team here which makes for much comraderie.  The bars and kafeneions in Greece are far and away superior to anything we have in the US I’m sad to say.  One can buy a beer here for 2 euros and get a plate of ‘meze’ for free.  This meze could be meatballs and potatoes, frenchfries and fried cheese, or boiled meat and bread.  Why we have nothing like this in the States is incomprehensible.  Maybe I’ll break into that market someday.  Ah good times.
